Présentation concertante

Présentation concertante is a piece for solo violin and chamber ensemble in which each musician gets to be presented to the audience. The presentation occurs while the music is being performed. Each presentation is followed by a solo by the musician that was presented. The presentation can be done by the conductor, the soloist or someone else (e.g. the host of the concert).

Instrumentation: solo violin / piano / harp (optional) / string orchestra (or string quintet)

Duration: 6 minutes
